Whilst the trio were visiting the Glacier, I was on an early morning mini-hike to the Alpine Garden view point. What a beautiful walk through the enchanted forest. What started as a walk ended with me being the pack horse, bubba fell asleep almost immediately. My bad! Got her out of bed too early 🤣🚁🩷

Happy New Year 2024!

As I sit with the energy of the new year I’m reminded of the challenges we face asa society. Navigating the stresses of life, living in scarcity of time, striving for a healthy work life balance, looking for quality time with family and friends. And how difficult is it to get downtime to do absolutely nothing!

Reflecting on my clients needs struggling with chronic pain symptoms I feel I can determine 3 main set-backs in their “rehab” goals; 1. A lack of understanding their pathology & symptoms, 2. Difficulty in knowing how to effectively stretch
3. Difficulty in knowing how to restore joint function through strength work and movement.

One of my professional goals this year is to remedy this through workshops, movement classes and one on one coaching.

For my own goals this year the word RECONNECTION resonates.
1 - Reconnect with my clients and wider community in a meaningful way
2 - Reconnect with family and friends, people who mean the most to me finding opportunities to laugh, have fun, enjoy each other
3 - Reconnect with my body through mobility work, flexibility training and strength work (staying strong and keeping healthy joints is essential to a happy life)

I'm passionate about helping people "navigate' chronic pain conditions. I love my job, and through experience i believe given the right environment the human body has the capacity to heal, very quickly.

At Recover Bodywork we're excited to be launching our movement / fascial release timetable in February 2024 (more to follow), this movement system is designed to coach and educate clients on releasing fascial restrictions contributing to debilitating conditions like Plantar Fasciitis, lumbar disc bulges, hip pathologies, shoulder impingements etc. We continue to offer early appointments from 6.30am and late appointments 6.30pm (on request). And will be making booking appointments easier by offering online booking system (QR code to follow).
