Sometimes, feeling more in control around food starts with giving yourself more permission, not creating more food rules

Save this post as a reminder for the next time you feel like you need to “start again” on Monday 🤍

Has anyone else noticed how out of control this whole peptide trend has become?

People are treating them like a magic fix for every problem, and they most certainly aren’t. What do you think? 👇

If you know you need to eat more, but the thought of doing that feels overwhelming, you’re not alone.

If you were my client, this is something we’d work through together, step by step. No forcing you to suddenly double your food overnight, no judgment, and no guessing. Just a plan that helps you fuel your body with confidence.

If you’re ready to go from under-fuelled to well-fuelled without the overwhelm, DM me the word FUEL and I’ll send you more information about coaching 😊

Trying to lose body fat without sacrificing your strength or performance a really common goal.

The problem is that so many people make the process much harder than it needs to be - they end up eating too little, cutting carbs completely and then wonder why they end up dragging themselves to the gym.

If you’re looking for support to lose body fat while still feeling strong, fuelled and performing at your best, send me the word COACHING and we can have a chat 😊

Back when I was 25, I really thought I had all the answers when it came to nutrition, and I genuinely believed I was doing all the right things.

Fast forward 10 years, another decade of studying, working with hundreds of clients, making plenty of mistakes myself, and simply getting older, and you realise there’s always more to learn.

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learnt is that health isn’t about having perfect nutrition. It’s about building habits that fit your life, enjoying the food you eat, finding movement you actually look forward to, and accepting that life isn’t always going to be perfect and that’s okay.

Looking back, I definitely laugh at some of the things I believed at 25. What’s something you believed at 25 that you’ve completely changed your mind about?

This is your reminder that being as small as possible isn’t always the healthiest goal, especially if it means losing your period, compromising your bone health, or disrupting your hormones in the process.

Your body needs enough energy to do so much more than just get through a workout. It needs fuel to support your hormones, maintain healthy bones, recover from training, and keep you feeling your best.

Please don’t sacrifice your long term health for the skinny trend that won’t matter in a few years.

Your future self will thank you for it 💚

If you’re trying to eat more protein, but it’s still not making much of a difference, you might be making one of these common mistakes.

❌ Saving most of your protein for dinner
❌ Skipping protein (or barely having any) at breakfast
❌ Guessing how much you need

A simple way to improve your intake? Aim for around a palm sized serve of protein at each meal and spread it across the day, and include some protein rich snacks.

You don’t need to overcomplicate it. Small changes like adding protein to breakfast or being a little more intentional at lunch can make a big difference to your energy, hunger and recovery.

Save this post, then tomorrow take a look at your meals and see how you’re doing.

What’s your biggest challenge with eating enough protein?
