Stretching is important for recovery and flexibility! Muscles operate at different angles during activity, so they need to be stretched in multiple positions to ensure they are properly stretched!

Here's a routine I've developed for after soccer and a leg session in the gym 🦵

Hold each stretch for 60 seconds for optimal benefit!

Strength work is crucial to preventing and rehabilitating injuries!

Different exercises and different rep ranges will give different results (strength, power, endurance, hypertrophy).

I work with sets of 15 reps for my leg routine and work single leg on alot of my exercises to help balance out imbalances I have developed through injuries and also bad habits 😝

Meet Benny!

After a diverse career in healthcare management, Benny studied the Doctor of Podiatric Medicine to vocationally retrain as a podiatrist. Benny is fascinated with all aspects of podiatry, and has a keen interest in sports medicine, biomechanics and footwear. Outside of podiatry, Benny is a competitive weightlifter. With four rescued pets, Benny loves all animals big and small and enjoys supporting animal shelters and programs.

Benny will be working at East Perth Podiatry covering for Paul in mid June and July! Available Friday afternoons and fortnightly Saturdays 😁

Here at East Perth Podiatry we use a laser based scanner to create a 3D mould of your foot 🦶

This then gets sent to the lab to create an orthotic specifically for your foot with any adjustments our Podiatrist includes in your orthotic prescription!
