This is a non-invasive treatment which involves the treating of surface skin irregularities such as fine lines, enlarged pores, benign pigments (freckles, melasma, poikiloderma, etc) and vascular lesions (rosacea & telangecticia), uneven skin tone & sun damage. The light energy converts to heat which damages the target cells without disrupting the skin's surface. Sclerotherapy involves injecting a solution into the vein with a very fine needle to cause inflammation and collapse. Once the vein has collapsed, no blood can re-enter and the vein is absorbed by the body’s natural responses. Sclerotherapy requires 30-45 minutes depending on the number of areas being treated. Patients may experience mild temporary cramping during the injection as the solution enters the vessel. This sensation resolves within minutes. Injection sites are covered with gauze and tape, and the legs are usually wrapped with an elastic wrap. Patients are encouraged to walk immediately after the procedure, and the wrap is removed in 24 hours. No wound care is required. The treated vessels gradually disappear over the following month. Coolsculpting is a non-invasive procedure that freezes stubborn fat that does not respond to diet and exercise through a process called cyrolipolysis. Cryolipolysis is the non-invasive cooling of adipose tissue to induce lipolysis – the breaking down of fat cells – to reduce body fat without damage to other tissues.This is accomplished by:
1. Exposing the treatment area to cooling via energy extraction causes fat cell apoptosis – a natural, controlled cell death, which leads to the release of cytokines and other inflammatory mediators that gradually eliminate the affected cells.
2. Inflammatory cells gradually digest the affected fat cells in the months after the procedure, reducing the thickness of the fat layer.

In this procedure, radio frequency waves are used to burn off unwanted tissue such as skin tags, raised benign moles, sun damaged skin, warts, keratoses and other such growths with minimal to no scarring, in most patients. This technique will not work on flat lesions, as it may leave a depressed scar. Your moles will firstly be checked by our Cosmetic Physician to assess if they are suitable to be removed.
