"How often would I see my psychologist?"

At your first psychology appointment, your psychologist will work with you to determine how often you should attend based on your needs, goals and circumstances.

Some clients start with weekly or fortnightly sessions. As things progress, appointments may become less frequent.

Regular sessions can help you build momentum, which is why your psychologist might recommend booking appointments in advance.

MIFWA Psychology Clinic is accepting appointments.

Over the past year, MIFWA has taken a number of practical steps to strengthen our environmental sustainability and reduce our impact on the environment.

Key initiatives included transitioning our leased fleet vehicles from petrol to hybrid models, helping to reduce fuel consumption and emissions.

We also reviewed recycling and waste management practices across our sites and increased awareness among staff about sustainable travel, fuel use and vehicle mileage.

At the Lorikeet Centre, we explored opportunities to install solar energy systems as part of our commitment to improving long-term environmental sustainability. We also continued to reduce paper usage through increased digitisation of governance and operational processes.

While supporting mental health recovery remains our core mission, we recognise the importance of taking practical action to build a more sustainable future for our community, our organisation and the environment.
