🏕️ Highway Heroes Friendship Camp 🏕️

A few weeks ago, we wrapped up our Highway Heroes friendship module with a fun camp-themed revision session!

The children unpacked their Friendship Camp Bag, revisiting the tools and strategies they had learned across the term, including managing friendship flare-ups, using assertive communication, asking for help, accepting normal refusals, and problem-solving with peers.

Each tool was linked to a practice activity or game, with children earning badges/patches for their Friendship Camp flag to take home.

A lovely way to celebrate the end of term and practise friendship skills through play! 🌲🔥🎒

We are looking forward to seeing our Highway Heroes students back next term, commencing on Friday the 31st of July.

29/05/2026

REMINDER: There will be no therapy sessions on Saturday 30th of May or Monday 1st of June due to the public holiday.

Wishing all our families a wonderful long weekend. Our team will be taking a short break too and will be back next week refreshed and ready to support your children.

Warm regards,
Gymworks OT🩵

REMINDER

From Tuesday 5th May to Friday 8th May, some of our amazing Occupational Therapists will be hitting the books (and probably lots of coffee ☕) as they attend a professional development course.

That means no regular sessions will be running during this time.

✨ Important note: If your therapist has personally organised a session with you, those special arrangements will still go ahead as planned.

We promise we’ll be back the following week, refreshed, inspired, and full of new ideas to support your children in the best possible ways! 🚀

Thanks so much for your understanding and support while we level up our skills!
