We are governed by a passionate Board of Directors, strongly committed to Eskleigh’s mission, and are greatly reliant on the financial support and generosity of the Tasmanian community. Eskleigh also boasts a premier statewide community support network, offering in-home care and respite services, enabling people with a disability to stay in the comfort of their own home with full support and daily healthcare. Delivering a real quality of life Eskleigh enables hundreds of Tasmanians with a range of disabilities to enjoy a meaningful, active and fulfilling way of life. Established in 1947, we have a long and proud history supporting people with a disability at a range of levels so that they may enjoy a quality of life not otherwise possible. With our supported accommodation options, attendant care and respite services and community events, Eskleigh supports and encourages clients to embrace life and become active members of their community, enriching not only the lives of people with a disability but feeding back into a prosperous Tasmanian community.

Today is a good reminder to pause, connect and simply to check in on one another...
R u Ok day is not just today, but it is everyday. If you, or someone you know is doing it tough, take a moment, start a conversation, listen without judgement and remind them of the help that is available...
Today at Eskleigh properties around the state Participants and Staff planted Sun Flowers. In the coming weeks and months we hope to see some bright yellow flowers, that will again remind us to keep asking... R u Ok?

Garry was very excited to meet one of his beloved Carlton players recently when Dilip his Support Worker, took him to Petrarch’s Bookstore to meet Sam Docherty!
Garry took his Carlton football and brought a book, which Sam signed. The morning was topped off with a delicious doughnut, needless to say Garry had the best day!

A very exciting milestone at Eskleigh Home!

Participants at Eskleigh Home are super excited to finally have a fully accessible shower and bathroom, with plenty of room for dressing! This is something that has been on the wish list for a very long time! Previously, participants needed to be assisted back to their rooms to dress after a shower.

Not only does Phase 1 of the new bathroom renovations mean more privacy and comfort during personal care. But it is so much more than just a new bathroom! It’s about creating an environment that supports choice, independence and dignity for the Participants who call Eskleigh Home, home... 💙

A heartfelt thank you to the Bruce Wall Trust who have generously made this life changing project possible!

"Oggi abbiamo mangiato pasta a pranzo!” Today we had pasta for lunch! 🇮🇹🍝

As part of Eskleigh Home’s Journey Around the World month, a special Italian lunch was prepared by Participants and Staff. The pasta dough making began yesterday and it was all hands-on deck this morning to roll the pasta and make the sauce!

Thank you to Participants and Staff who helped create a delicious lunch!.

Beautiful new floorboards at Eskleigh home have been installed by the team at Choices Flooring Launceston

A huge thank you to our staff and the people we support who rolled up their sleeves to prep the room by painting the walls at our last working bee.

Thank you to everyone who had to be flexible and find alternative spaces while the work was underway—your patience and support made this transformation possible.

The room looks absolutely fabulous!

Special thank you to Rob and Andrew who worked tirelessly to make this happen!
