Take a Second. Stay Secure. 🔐

As Cyber Security Action Month draws to a close, it's a good reminder that staying secure online isn't just a once-a-year conversation. Small actions taken every day can make a big difference.

Before clicking a link, opening an attachment, or sharing information online, take a moment to pause and think.

Simple actions such as:
✔ Using strong, unique passphrases
✔ Enabling multi-factor authentication
✔ Keeping software and devices up to date
✔ Staying alert to scams and phishing attempts

can help protect both your personal and professional information. These everyday habits align with this year's theme,"Take a Second. Stay Secure."

Cyber security is everyone's responsibility. Let's keep building safer online habits every day.

💛 National Safe Work Month | Week 4: For All

Safe workplaces are built by people.

Every time we report a hazard, follow a procedure, share knowledge or look out for a teammate, we're helping create a safer environment for everyone.

Safety isn't limited to one role or one responsibility. It's something we all contribute to.

As we wrap up National Safe Work Month, we're reminded that safe work is for all.

👇 What's one thing you do to help make your workplace safer?

Safe work is for life.

Before the emergency comes the preparation.

While many people think emergency response begins when the alarm sounds, our Fire & Rescue teams know the real work starts long before that.

From bushfire risk assessments and hazard identification to training and preparedness activities, our teams work year-round to help clients stay ready.

Earlier this week, that readiness was tested when smoke was spotted near a client operation. Acting quickly, our team investigated the threat, located a significant bushfire and worked to prevent it from impacting site operations.

Prepared. Proactive. Ready when it matters most.

🐢 Sometimes the most memorable moments happen when you least expect them.

Working in remote Australia can lead to some truly unique experiences beyond the day-to-day responsibilities of the job.

Recently, one of our paramedics had the privilege of joining local Elders to help newly hatched green sea turtles begin their journey to the ocean.

As the sun set and painted the coastline in shades of gold, the tiny hatchlings made their way across the sand towards the water. Watching something so small and determined take its first steps towards the sea was a powerful reminder of the incredible environment and communities that surround many remote workplaces.

Moments like these highlight the value of building meaningful relationships with local communities and the privilege of working in some of Australia's most remarkable landscapes.

Some rewards have nothing to do with the job itself. Sometimes they come in a tiny shell, with four flippers and a very big journey ahead.

From Queensland to Remote Australia 🚑

What does it take to mobilise healthcare services in some of Australia's most remote locations?

Following the successful award of a new contract in the Northern Territory, a Medical Response vehicle has travelled thousands of kilometres from Queensland to its new operational home, supporting the mobilisation of our latest Health & Medical deployment.

From long stretches of remote highway and temperatures exceeding 40°C to the logistics of moving equipment and preparing emergency response capability, every mobilisation is backed by careful planning, teamwork and a commitment to delivering healthcare where it's needed most.

This latest mobilisation marks another exciting milestone for Corporate Protection Australia Health & Medical as we continue expanding our capability and supporting clients across remote and regional Australia.

We're proud of the people behind the journey and look forward to supporting this new operation from day one.

💛 National Safe Work Month | Week 3: For the Future

Some of the most valuable safety lessons are passed from one person to another.

It might be advice from a mentor, something learned through experience or a reminder that has stayed with you throughout your career.

By sharing those lessons, speaking up about risks and leading by example, we can help create safer workplaces for the people working beside us today and the workforce of tomorrow.

👇 What is one safety lesson you would pass on to someone new to the industry?

Add your advice in the comments. It could help someone make a safer choice.

Safe work is for life.

🚑 What's it really like being a FIFO paramedic?

The role is often very different from what people expect.

While emergency response is an important part of the job, FIFO paramedics also support workforce health, wellbeing, preventative healthcare and occupational health across some of Australia's most remote environments.

Take a look behind the scenes and discover what a typical day can involve.

🧠 Mental health is one of the most important workplace safety challenges facing Australian businesses today.

Recently, Corporate Protection Chairman Harley Sparke spoke at a client safety forum about the growing importance of mental health awareness, education and prevention in the workplace.

For organisations operating in remote, isolated and high-pressure environments, supporting mental wellbeing is just as important as managing physical health and safety risks. Creating safer workplaces starts with building awareness, encouraging conversations and ensuring people have access to the support they need.

As Harley shared during his presentation:

"Mental health is one of the fastest growing HSE challenges in Australia and we had better be ahead of the curve. I intend to be."

At Corporate Protection, we remain committed to supporting the wellbeing of our people and helping clients build safer, healthier and more resilient workplaces.

💛 What does a healthy workplace mean to you?

As we continue National Safe Work Month, Week 2 is all about recognising what workplace health and safety protects.

It's not just about preventing incidents. It's about protecting the physical and mental health of the people who come to work every day.

At Corporate Protection, we believe safer workplaces are built when people feel supported, respected and empowered to look after themselves and each other.

Because when we protect health, we're protecting what matters most: our people.

👇 We'd love to hear from you.

In one word or one sentence, what makes a workplace healthy?
