Let's be honest, nobody budgets a week of sick days, cancelled plans, and a box of tissues for winter. 🤧

Flu season has arrived in the Hunter and now is a great time to speak with your GP about whether a flu vaccination is right for you. The Australian Government recommends annual flu vaccinations for many Australians, particularly those who may be at higher risk of complications from influenza, including:

🧒 Young children under 5
👴 Adults aged 65 and over
🤰 Pregnant women
🏥 People with certain chronic health conditions
🪶 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people

The good news? If you fall into one of these groups, your flu vaccination may be free under the National Immunisation Program (NIP). Not sure if you're eligible? Give us a call or visit our website and we'll help you figure it out.
