❓ FAQ: When can I start Mums & Bubs Pilates after giving birth?

Great question — and one we hear all the time! In most cases, you can start Mums & Bubs Pilates once you’ve had your postnatal check and clearance from your GP, obstetrician, or physiotherapist. This is usually:
✨ Around 6 weeks postnatal after a vaginal birth
✨ Around 6 - 8 weeks postnatal after a C-section

Every recovery is different, so it’s important to listen to your body and ensure you’re ready before returning to exercise. Our classes are designed to be gentle, supportive, and tailored to your stage of recovery 💛

Been a while but time for a weekly recap!

Another great week at the clinic 💙

This week we were excited to officially welcome our newest physiotherapist, Julie, to the clinic! We are so happy to have her on board and can’t wait for everyone to get know her 👏

We also celebrated Mahsa’s birthday in style with lots of goodies. We hope she had an amaing day 🎂🥳

To finish off the week, our team took part in an inservice focused on running assessments 🏃‍♀️. These services give our physio’s the opportunity to further develop their knowledge and continue delivering high quality, evidence-based care for our clients 📚

When a promising young athlete suffers a devastating injury, the path back to the sport they love can seem impossibly long.😢
For one Brisbane Metro player, Ruaridh, however, perseverance, a supportive club, and expert guidance from SPHC Acupuncturist, Neil, turned a nightmare into an inspiring comeback story. 💪🙌
