☕💛 **Seymour Health’s Biggest Morning Tea** 💛☕

Seymour Health’s Biggest Morning Tea was a wonderful opportunity to catch up, connect, and enjoy some great chats with colleagues.

Thanks to everyone’s generosity, we raised a fantastic **$280** through gold coin donations to support a great cause! 👏

A huge thank you to all who baked, cooked, and contributed—the spread of food was absolutely amazing and truly appreciated by everyone.

Well done to all involved and thank you for making it such a lovely event! 💛

The Victorian Multicultural Health Survey provides an important opportunity for multicultural communities to share their experiences of Victoria’s health services and contribute ideas for building a fairer and more inclusive health system.

The survey is available in 14 languages and closes on 31 May. With less than two weeks to go, it is crucial that the experiences of underrepresented communities are reflected in the survey.

People can complete the survey themselves, or it can be completed on their behalf by a carer or staff member.

Survey findings will be published in a public report and will inform future health policies, plans and programs in Victoria, including the next Department of Health Multicultural Health Action Plan.

Palliative Care Victoria 2026 Summit
Tomorrow’s care starts today.
The Summit provided a valuable opportunity to connect with colleagues across the sector and reflect on the future of palliative care in Victoria. It was inspiring to stand alongside such dedicated professionals who are committed to delivering compassionate, person-centred care.
A heartfelt thank you to Anne Marie Ellis (Clinical Nurse Specialist, Seymour Health), Rose Sexton and Sam Moorhouse (West Hume Aged Care and Disability Resource Nurses for Palliative Care), and Paula Sutherland (Nurse Unit Manager, Palliative Care, Seymour Health) for your leadership and unwavering commitment.
Whether you are a healthcare professional, aged care or disability worker, community leader, First Nations health worker, educator, volunteer, or someone with lived experience—your contribution matters. Together, we strengthen the impact of our sector and help shape a better future for palliative care.
