What if urgency isn’t your personality — but something you’ve learned?
We live in a culture that rewards speed, productivity and constant availability. And as mothers, it can be so easy to internalise the message that everything needs our attention now.
But urgency isn’t the same as importance.
And constantly rushing through our days can make it harder to feel present, connected and grounded in the life we’re actually living.
I’m unlearning the belief that everything needs to happen now — and questioning the stories that taught me that being busy, responsive and productive means I’m doing enough.
Because sometimes the most powerful shift isn’t doing more.
It’s learning that we’re allowed to pause., actually. And that might be the most productive thing you do all day 🫶
