✨ Your Christmas glow starts now.🎄

With the festive season just around the corner, now is a lovely time to start giving your skin a little extra attention.

Whether you're looking forward to Christmas gatherings, family photos or end-of-year celebrations, a little planning now can help you work towards healthier-looking, refreshed skin for the season ahead.

At Rotem Medical, we offer a range of doctor-led skin treatments designed to support skin hydration, texture, quality and radiance, depending on your individual needs and goals.

Why start now?

Many skin rejuvenation treatments are performed as a course of 2–3 sessions, spaced a few weeks apart. Starting in October allows time to plan your treatment journey ahead of the festive season.

There is no one-size-fits-all approach to skin health. During your consultation, our doctor will assess your skin and discuss suitable treatment options based on your concerns, preferences and medical suitability.

Consider it a little early Christmas gift to yourself — taking time for your skin and feeling comfortable in it.

💌 Get in touch to arrange a consultation and start planning your skin journey.

*All treatments are subject to medical consultation and suitability. Results and treatment schedules vary between individuals.*

Did you know breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer among women in Australia?

In 2026 alone, almost 7,000 women in NSW are expected to receive a breast cancer diagnosis.

This , we’re helping more people learn about breast cancer and shining a light on the importance of early detection.

When breast cancer is detected early, the five-year survival rate is close to 100%.

🎀 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

This month, we’re reminded that behind every diagnosis is a person, a family and a story — and no two breast cancer journeys are the same.

The 2026 theme, “Every story is unique, every journey matters,” is a beautiful reminder that breast health is not just about screening. It’s also about knowing your own body, understanding your risk, speaking up when something doesn’t feel right, and having someone to guide you through the next step.

Breast changes can include:
• A new lump or thickening
• A change in the size or shape of the breast
• Changes to the skin or ni**le
• Unusual or bloody ni**le discharge
• Any new or persistent change that concerns you

Most breast changes are not breast cancer — but it’s always worth having something new or unusual checked.

At Rotem, we’re here to make those conversations feel a little easier. Whether it’s discussing your family history and breast cancer risk, arranging appropriate screening, or reviewing a change that you’ve noticed, you don’t have to navigate it alone.

This October, take a moment to check in with yourself — and encourage the women you love to do the same.

"Every story is unique. Every journey matters."

Labour Day Public Holiday

A little reminder that Rotem Medical will be closed on Monday 5 October for the Labour Day public holiday.

We’ll be open as usual this Saturday, 3 October, so if you need to see your GP before the long weekend, we’ll be here. We’ll then resume our usual clinic hours from Tuesday 6 October.

We hope you all enjoy the long weekend — whether it’s a chance to get out and about with the family, catch up with loved ones, or simply slow down and enjoy a little extra rest.

For urgent medical care while we are closed, you can contact Sydney Medical Service on 1300 HOME GP, or visit Wise Emergency Clinic at Macquarie Park.

If you have a medical emergency, please call 000 or attend your nearest Emergency Department.

Take care and enjoy the long weekend from all of us at Rotem Medical.

A small update to our fees from 1 October

From 1 October 2026, card surcharges will no longer be able to be passed on to patients, meaning the cost of EFTPOS processing will be absorbed by the practice and individual doctors.

After careful consideration, we have decided not to increase our consultation fees at this time.

We will continue with our current fees and review them next year, taking into account the actual cost of EFTPOS processing along with the overall costs of running the practice.

We appreciate your ongoing support of Rotem Medical and look forward to continuing to provide high-quality care to our community.

Hay fever season is here — and it can affect more than just your nose.

Sneezing, a blocked or runny nose, itchy eyes and post-nasal drip can make it harder to fall asleep, cause restless nights and leave you feeling tired and foggy the next day.

For children, teenagers and adults alike, poorly controlled hay fever can have a real impact on sleep, concentration, energy and day-to-day wellbeing.

The good news is that there are a range of treatment options, and the right approach can depend on your symptoms, triggers and how much they are affecting your daily life.

At Rotem Medical, Dr Linnie has a special interest in allergies and can help assess your symptoms and develop a management plan suited to you and your family.

If hay fever is keeping you or your child awake at night, it may be time to get on top of it this spring. 🌸

**Why do we offer aesthetic medicine at Rotem Medical? **

Because looking after your health is about more than what happens when you’re unwell.

As a family practice, we care for our patients through so many different stages of life — from preconception, pregnancy and raising a family, to the changes that come with ageing.

And sometimes, that includes wanting to feel a little more confident in the way you look and feel.

We believe aesthetic medicine can have a place alongside good medical care — when it is approached thoughtfully, safely and with realistic expectations.

That’s why we offer medical aesthetic treatments within the familiar environment of Rotem Medical, with the same focus on professional medical care, safety and your individual goals.

There’s no pressure to change the way you look. No expectation to “fix” something that isn’t broken.

Sometimes it’s simply about looking a little more refreshed, maintaining your skin as it changes, or doing something for yourself.

We love that our patients can come to a place they already know and trust for their family’s healthcare — and, when appropriate, also explore medical aesthetic options with us.

"Because caring for the whole family also means caring for you."

We’ll be sharing more of our aesthetic services over the coming months — always with a focus on thoughtful, medically-led care and natural results.

From planning a family, to growing one — and every stage in between.

At Rotem Medical, we believe family medicine begins long before a baby arrives.

Whether you’re thinking about starting a family, preparing for pregnancy, navigating contraception and reproductive health, or welcoming a new baby into your life, our GPs are here to support you through each stage.

And once your little one arrives, we’re here for them too — from childhood and adolescence through to adulthood, alongside the health and wellbeing of the whole family.

As a family practice, we value the continuity that comes from having a trusted GP who can care for you, your children and your family over time.

From pre-conception care and pregnancy, to newborn checks, childhood health, women’s health, preventative care and everything in between — we’re here for the whole family.
