Staff Member Highlight - Introducing our newest Funeral Director Peter Dowsley.

Peter brings more than 32 years of experience in the funeral industry, including 10.5 years with Statewide Mortuary Transfers, where he worked as both a driver and Country Coordinator. In August 2025, Peter relocated from Sydney to Tuncurry and began working casually with Allan Pearse before stepping into a full-time role when the opportunity became available.
Family is at the heart of Peter’s life. He and his wife have been married for 30 years and are proud parents to 8 children, grandparents to 18 grandchildren, with their first great-grandchild on the way, OMG!
Outside of work, Peter enjoys spending time with family, travelling in his caravan, the occasional round of golf, and a game of snooker whenever he gets the chance.
Peter likes his INSTANT coffee, white with one sugar in his Yeti travel mug.
