Your first aid + CPR certificate expiry date is your responsibility (friendly reminder)

Quick reminder for anyone who’s done CPR or First Aid training for work: keeping your certificate current is on you.

We see it all the time someone realises their CPR or First Aid is about to expire, and suddenly it’s a mad scramble because their employer needs it “yesterday”. Totally understandable… but it’s also avoidable.

A few things to keep in mind:
- Your employer might require you to hold a current certificate, but they’re not always tracking your expiry date for you.
- The training organisation delivers the course and issues the certificate we don’t automatically know when your workplace needs you renewed, or when your role changes.
- Courses can book out (especially in busy periods), so leaving it to the last minute can mean you miss the date you need.

Best tip: check your certificate now and set a reminder in your phone/calendar.
- CPR (HLTAID009) is valid for 12 months
- First Aid (HLTAID011) is valid for 3 years

One more thing we do to make life easier: if you need to pay by invoice instead of paying online, just reach out. It doesn’t affect your certificate renewal at all it’s simply an extra service we offer (and one that many providers don’t).
