VERY interesting birth scene in one of the latest 2026 rom coms. (Very hilariously unrealistic labour as per expected, she goes from zero contractions to waters breaking and crowning in under two minutes and the.THEN has the miraculous power to resists expelking automatically and only births when she decides to "push")

None of us know, as none of us were there. But it sounds sad that this mothers' symptoms had progressed to such a severe state without anyone helping her reach medical care :(

Perhaps we can assume the mother refused offers of going to care, or calling for care?

In which case, this would all be even sadder yet....

How sad to think that mothers are so traumatised by the system, that they would rather die - than seek help.

And yet, that can be true, it is certainly a past experience and feeling I have had at times in my own earlier life. About various things. I won't share right now, perhaps another time.

For now.... this is this mothers story.

And her outcome was death.

May she rest in peace.
