Peace it Together

Peace it Together Sharing the ancient practices of yoga to help Peace it Together. I consider it a privilege to be able to share life lessons from my own personal journey.

This page was created to enable the sharing of life experiences and to pass on valuable lessons that life has taught us to help peace it all together. My desire is simply to share what I have learned and maybe provide some helpful tools and resources for others. Perhaps along the way someone may feel inspired, become more aware, feel a particular resonance or just simply enjoy the posts. I invite

you to share with me on this page, your own life lessons and pearls of wisdom that have helped you peace it together.

There are seasons in our lives when the practice flows easily, and others when we naturally step away.

Neither is right or wrong. Both are part of the journey.

The invitation is simply to listen inwardly and notice when the desire to reconnect begins to stir.

Perhaps that time is now.

Maybe life has been busy. Maybe your priorities have changed. Maybe you simply found yourself drifting away from your yoga practice.

Whatever the reason, know that your mat is still waiting for you.

There’s no need to pick up where you left off. No expectations. No need to be as flexible, strong or consistent as you once were.

Simply come as you are.

Take a breath.
Move gently.
Reconnect with yourself.
And allow your practice to meet you exactly where you are today.

🌱 Spring is a beautiful time for new beginnings — perhaps this is your invitation to return to the mat.

I’d love to welcome you back to practice with me.

Angelique

My time away has gently reinstated something I think we all know, yet can so easily forget…

The importance of reconnecting with nature and her rhythms.

Of slowing down enough to notice.

To breathe a little more deeply.
To listen a little more closely.
To appreciate what is being offered to us in each moment.

There is something incredibly grounding about stepping away from the busyness of everyday life and allowing ourselves to simply be — to watch the changing light, listen to the birds, feel the earth beneath our feet and remember that we too are part of these natural rhythms.

And in that slowing down, I found a little more clarity.

A little more calm.

And perhaps, most importantly, the space to see things that are easily obscured when life moves too quickly.

As I return to the teaching mat this week, I hope to carry these lessons with me — not simply as thoughts, but as something felt and lived.

May I bring to our practices the same clarity, presence and conviction with which these lessons were delivered to me by nature herself.

And may our time together on the mat offer you a little space to slow down, reconnect and listen to what is quietly waiting to be heard within.

See you on the mat.

Back on the teaching mat… and what a beautiful time to return! 💙

After a month away travelling, reflecting and spending time as a student on my own mat, I’m delighted to be returning to teaching this week — just in time to celebrate the auspicious Eastern calendar event of Krishna Janmashtami, the celebration of the birth of Lord Krishna.

Krishna is associated with many beautiful qualities that we can bring into our yoga practice — joy, love, courage, compassion, playfulness, devotion and surrender.

So this week, rather than simply moving through the shapes of our practice, I invite you to explore these qualities from within:

✨ Can we bring a little more joy and playfulness to our movement?
✨ Can we cultivate courage when we meet challenge?
✨ Can we soften into love and compassion for ourselves and others?
✨ Can we practise devotion by giving ourselves fully to the moment?
✨ And can we learn to let go of the outcome, trusting the wisdom of our practice?

After a month of being the student, I’m especially looking forward to stepping back onto the teaching mat and sharing this practice with you once again.

Come and join me this week as we reconnect, move, breathe, reflect and perhaps discover a little more of the Krishna within our own practice. 🦚💙

Namaste,

Angelique

After a month of travel, reflection, study, and precious time with family, I am preparing to return to the teaching mat with a full heart.

Yoga teaches us that we never return unchanged. Each experience, each lesson, and each moment of stillness invites us to meet ourselves—and our practice—with fresh eyes.

This time away has reminded me of the importance of remaining both teacher and student, creating space to listen, learn, and grow.

My deepest gratitude goes to the wonderful teachers who have guided our community during my absence. I hope you've enjoyed their wisdom, care, and unique perspectives, and discovered something new within your own practice along the way.

And to each of you who continued to show up for yourself—thank you. Every breath, every step, every return to the mat matters.

As we come together again, I look forward to sharing practice, connection, and community with you. Not as a return to where we were, but as a fresh beginning.

I can't wait to see you back on the mat soon.

As this month draws toward its close, I find myself reflecting on the many ways yoga teaches us to return—to the breath, to presence, to gratitude, and ultimately to ourselves.

Whether your practice has been strong and steady, sporadic and imperfect, or somewhere in between, know that every moment spent reconnecting with yourself matters.

I hope you've enjoyed the wisdom and guidance of the incredible teachers who have shared the mat with you during my absence. Their generosity, knowledge, and unique perspectives are a beautiful reminder that yoga's teachings flow through many voices.

Thank you for continuing to nurture your practice and for supporting our wider yoga community while I've been away.

I look forward to seeing familiar faces again soon, but until then, keep breathing deeply, moving mindfully, and trusting the journey.

The path of yoga is not measured by perfection—it is measured by presence.

With gratitude and love, I look forward to returning to the mat with you soon.

As my journey continues, I've been reflecting on the importance of sangha—the yogic concept of community.

Yoga may be an inward journey, but it is rarely a solitary one. We grow through the people who walk beside us, support us, challenge us, and inspire us.

This week, I encourage you to continue showing up—not only for yourself but for one another. Share a smile before class. Welcome someone new. Offer encouragement. Celebrate the simple act of gathering together in practice.

The teachers leading classes are generously holding space for our community, and I am deeply grateful for their presence, wisdom, and care. I hope you'll embrace the opportunity to learn from them and experience the richness that different teachers bring to the practice.

Together we create something far greater than any one individual can offer alone.

May your practice remind you that you are both supported and supporting others.

One of the gifts of stepping away and becoming a student again is being reminded that there is always more to learn.

In yoga, we call this approaching practice with "beginner's mind"—meeting each breath, each posture, and each experience with curiosity rather than certainty.

This week, I invite you to do the same. Perhaps attend a class with a teacher you haven't practised with before. Listen for a cue you've never noticed. Explore a different perspective. Allow yourself to be surprised.

The wonderful teachers guiding classes in my absence each carry their own wisdom, experience, and voice. Lean into the opportunity to learn from them and discover something new about your practice—and perhaps yourself.

Growth often begins the moment we release the need to know.

May your practice remain curious, open, and full of discovery.

As I settle into my time of travel, reflection, and study, my heart is filled with gratitude for this beautiful community.

One of yoga's greatest teachings is that the practice belongs to each of us. While teachers may guide the way, it is your own steady breath, awareness, and willingness to show up that creates transformation.

This week, I invite you to trust your practice. Roll out your mat, even if only for a few moments. Let your breath become your teacher. Let stillness become your companion.

And while I'm away, I encourage you to enjoy the wisdom, care, and guidance of the wonderful teachers who are holding space for our community. Each brings their own unique gifts and insights to the mat, offering new opportunities to learn, grow, and be inspired.

Yoga is not about who is teaching—it is about awakening the teacher within.

As many of you know, the yoga path is one of continual learning, surrender, and growth. In that spirit, I’ll be stepping away from the teaching mat for the next month and rolling out my student mat once again.

This coming season is an invitation for me to journey inward and outward—to travel, reflect, deepen my own practice, and sit at the feet of wisdom as a student. It is also a precious opportunity to immerse myself in the joyful presence of my family and nourish the connections that sustain the heart.

Yoga reminds us that there are times to guide and times to be guided, times to hold space and times to simply be present within it. I am embracing this pause as a sacred part of the cycle, trusting that stepping back is often what allows us to return with greater clarity, humility, and inspiration.

Thank you for your support, your practice, and the beautiful community we continue to create together. May this month be a reminder for all of us to honour the seasons of our own lives—to rest when called, to learn when inspired, and to trust the unfolding of the path.

Until we meet again on the mat in Spring, may you move with grace, breathe with awareness, and find joy in every step of your journey.
