Do your shoulders feel stiff or uncomfortable when you reach overhead, reach behind your back, or even put on a shirt?

Your body is designed to move—and your shoulders are no exception.

The goal isn’t to wait until something hurts before you start paying attention. Regular mobility work can help you maintain movement, improve body awareness, and keep your body moving with greater ease.

You don't need an hour-long workout.

Sometimes, 3–5 minutes of intentional movement throughout your day is a great place to start.

So today, give your shoulders some love. 🤍

Your body was designed to move—not to stay parked in one position all day.

One of the best investments I've made in my health is making movement a habit, not an afterthought.

Every morning I "oil my joints" with stretching, mobility, or a little dance around the house. 💃🏽 It wakes up my muscles, gets my joints moving, and prepares my body for the day ahead.

But I don't stop there.

I have reminders throughout the day to stand up, stretch, and move. Those small movement breaks help reduce stiffness, improve circulation, and keep my body ready for whatever the day throws at me.

As a bodywork and stretch coach, I always tell my clients:

You don't have to wait until you're in pain to start taking care of your body.

A few intentional minutes of movement today can save you weeks or even months of discomfort later.

Movement is medicine.
Recovery is a lifestyle.
Consistency is the goal.

Since moving to Exuma, I've watched participants go from being a little intimidated and uncomfortable in class to becoming more confident, stronger, and excited about what their bodies can do.

And that's the beauty of movement.

Something can feel HARD today and become NORMAL tomorrow.

The stretch you couldn't hold.
The squat you couldn't get into.
The plank that felt like it lasted 47 minutes. 😂
The movement you thought your body couldn't do.

You practice.
You adapt.
You get stronger.

And then it's time to level up!

Just remember: challenge is okay, pain is not the goal. Listen to your body and progress intentionally.

Mobility Monday 💕🎊

If you're constantly saying, "Boy, my body stiff!" this one's for you.

Whether you're sitting at a desk all day, driving from meeting to meeting, or binge-watching your favorite show, your body wasn't designed to stay in one position for hours.

Today's Mobility Monday is so simple... a caveman could do it. 😄

✅ Toe Touch – Loosens your hamstrings, calves, and lower back while improving flexibility.

✅ Seated Side Stretch – Opens your sides, shoulders, and spine while relieving tension from sitting all day.

That's it. Two movements. Less than two minutes.

Consistency beats complexity every single time. Your body doesn't need fancy—it needs movement.

So get up, stretch it out, and show your body a little love today.
