HOW CLEAN ARE YOUR HANDS? HOW OFTEN DO YOU WASH THEM EACH DAY?

Hand hygiene is one of the most important practices in our daily lives. As proven during the COVID-19 pandemic, many infections can easily be prevented through proper handwashing.

This year’s Hand Hygiene Commemoration by the Sidilega Team focused on recognising and awarding our Hand Hygiene Champions, individuals who have consistently demonstrated excellent hand hygiene practices through our internal audits.

We strongly believe in this year’s theme, “Action Saves Lives.” Working in an environment where lives are cared for every day means maintaining proper hand hygiene and keeping our spaces clean at all times to protect both patients and staff. The simple act of washing hands properly to eliminate germs and bacteria plays a vital role in ensuring everyone’s safety.
