The Early Bird draw for the Menno Place Harvest Raffle is September 14. Buy your ticket before then to be entered for a chance to win a Chef's Plate dinner for 4 at Primrose Gardens.

After September 14, tickets are only eligible for the October 21 grand prize draw for the handmade heirloom quilt.

Tickets are 1 for $8, 3 for $20, 5 for $30, or 10 for $50, online at MennoPlace.ca/Raffle or from a Life Enrichment Associate. Credit card only, no cash or cheques.

Tickets will also be available to purchase in person at Menno Place's Grandparents Day event in the courtyard on September 12.

Menno Place Campus is one of the largest senior's care campuses in British Columbia. There are 700 seniors living on 11 acres across from the Abbotsford Regional Hospital. Menno Place is governed by the Mennonite Benevolent Society which founded faith-based seniors care on this location in 1953.

The blue skies and sunshine set a perfect scene the tenth Annual Sitewide Memorial and Butterfly Release events. The day began with the Annual Memorial where over 100 family, friends, and staff gathered to honour 162 members of our community who passed in the last year. Then 150 people gathered in the courtyard to release butterflies. You can see photos from the day here:
