Our annual summer theme week is well underway across our homes!

This year’s theme: Summer Camp. Residents have been enjoying lawn games, creative crafts, classic summer treats and plenty of camp-inspired fun, while our teams have gone the extra mile with amazing homemade camp displays that may just earn them a Creative Camper badge!

Some of the most meaningful improvements start with someone who cares deeply about a place and the people who enjoy it. For Kim Gregory, that place is the courtyard garden at Annapolis Royal Nursing Home.

Inspired by her mom’s love of the courtyard garden, Kim brought together volunteers and donations to replace the old shade structure and reconfigure the space to make it more accessible for Residents and easier to maintain.

This was a HUGE project, and Residents and staff recently presented Kim with a small gift, card, and certificate to recognize her hard work and dedication. Thank you to Kim, and everyone who donated their time and resources to make this wonderful improvement possible.
