Behold. The Eye of Mushaboom.

Today is my first time participating in I am You and I did not expect to feel this much about a watercolour mushroom. I haven’t drawn in a lonnnnng ass time, for many a reason and it felt good to put pencil to paper and water to colour.

GOS Official account is a worldwide art hunt started in 2019 by Attaboy. Artists hide original work in their cities. Gatherers go looking. No dogma. No gatekeeping. Just people making things and leaving them for strangers to find. Participants from Hong Kong, Berlin, Japan, Tasmania, India, the UK and everywhere in between. It’s a whole freakin’ thing and I love it already. Thank you for sharing this with me Laura Boudreau I love thee!

Built by deciding. Not waiting to feel ready. 

The reframe that freed me a few years ago: it’s better to trust yourself and be wrong than to never trust yourself at all. A wrong choice still teaches you. An outsourced one teaches you something and also a whole lotta nothing. We can debate that later if you want. 

We remember our missteps in HD and forget our good calls. 
Start small today: pick the thing without asking everyone. Notice you aight. That’s the muscle. Maybe repeat if you can?

More wild & tender nuggets are probably underway…or not. We’ll see how I feel in the moment.

Oh what an inspirational evening at the !!

I couldn’t stop gasping in awe, smiling, laughing and feeling all types of emotions that were blessed from the performances, the acrobats, the chanseurs, those receiving awards and their contributions to the arts but also how the arts contributed to their joy; their passion.

Also everyone looked FABULOUS!!!
