The North Peace Ride for the Disabled provides horseback riding for persons with a wide range of disabilities. We combine traditional instruction in horsemanship skills with concepts of physical therapy to improve the strength, balance and self-esteem of physically and developmentally delayed children and adults. To an individual with a disability, horseback riding takes them into a new, unexplore

d world which provides a sense of independence and freedom that defies their disability. Horseback riding challenges our riders in a way that they have seldom been challenged before - and they love every minute of it!

We’re on the lookout for another horse to use for our program next season Oct-April. Do you have any prospects for us to try out? Must be quiet, bombproof, not too tall, but strong!
We take care of housing, feed, farrier, chiro and basic vet work as needed. They would be well taken care of, and exercised 3 times a week. Please send us a pm if you have have a horse we can check out!
