We are happy to announce that LCBO and Meals on Wheels Ontario have teamed up to support Meals on Wheels across Ontario.

Pick up your reusable tote bag at LCBO stores and LCBO.com and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Meals On Wheels Ontario to provide meals to seniors and adults with disabilities across our province.

We are also in great need of volunteers to deliver Meals On Wheels in Belleville and Deseronto. Can you spare 1-2 hours a week to deliver nutritious meals in our community? If so, we would love to hear from you.

This fall, customers can purchase a reusable tote bag, designed by Ontario artist Sarah Farquhar, in select LCBO stores and on LCBO.com, with 100% of proceeds donated to Meals on Wheels Ontario to provide meals to seniors and people with disabilities.

For many Meals on Wheels clients, the cost of nutritious meals can be a growing financial barrier. Funds raised through this initiative will help support access to meals for those experiencing financial hardship, helping ensure that cost is not a barrier to receiving the food and support they need.

Look for the LCBO and Meals on Wheels tote bag in stores and online, and help support Meals on Wheels in communities across Ontario.

The Deseronto Pet Food Pantry takes place on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month between 10am-12pm at the CCSH office -293 Main Street, Deseronto (St. George Street Entrance). The dates for this month are June 11 and 25. This is a supplemental program open to residents of Deseronto only. Quantities are limited.

We gratefully accept donations of wet and dry cat and dog food, as well as treats!

We’re proud to welcome local first responders and representatives from the Belleville Senators as they take part in fun challenges designed to raise awareness about the realities faced by younger stroke survivors.

Together, we’ll celebrate the strength, resilience, challenges, and victories of a different kind of superhero — Younger Stroke Survivors.

Come cheer them on and be part of this unforgettable event!

This Friday, March 27, is our semi-annual clothing giveaway at the Community Care Closet, 297 Main Street. All clothing and shoes are ABSOLUTELY FREE for one day only. Help us clear out our stock to make way for our new spring and summer clothing! We will be open from 10am-2pm on this day. All of our other goods will be available at our regular low prices. Please bring your own bags! Our volunteers look forward to welcoming you. 😃

Good morning. Due to the incredible snowfall we have just received, many of our programs are cancelled for today. Meals On Wheels is cancelled in Belleville today.
Our Deseronto office is closed for the day. Staff are working and monitoring phone messages remotely. Our Deseronto Meals On Wheels program, and our Morningstar Mission meal program are cancelled for today. All Escorted Transportation drives are cancelled from the Deseronto office as well.

This week, our Deseronto team assembled over 30 beautiful fruit baskets that were distributed to our treasured Meals On Wheels clients and select volunteers. It is a small way to remind our clients that they are remembered during the holidays and to thank our volunteers for all that they do for us throughout the year.

Thanks to a generous donation from the United Way HPE, CCSH will be hosting an Always Sanitary Pad Distribution day in our Deseronto office! We have 95 packages of pads to share.
Visit the Community Care office at 293 Main Street, DESERONTO between 2 and 4 pm. There will be a limit of 2 packages per person until supplies run out. If you have any questions, please call us at 613-396-6591.
