June is Men’s Mental Health Month — a reminder that mental health matters for everyone.

Many men face pressure to “stay strong,” push through challenges, or keep difficult emotions to themselves. But strength can also look like reaching out, having honest conversations, asking for support, and making space for your wellbeing.

You are not a burden. Support is available, and you do not have to navigate difficult seasons on your own. 💙

Grief is a normal and natural experience. Regardless of our education or experience, at some point we all experience loss. This loss may present as the death of a loved one. It may also be the conflicting feelings brought about by a change in what was familiar; the things in our life we wished had been different; all our lost dreams; or even unresolved emotions driven by unsaid communications. Regardless of the cause of our loss, as a griever, we are usually ill-equipped to identify and process our emotions.

Gestalt became part of the humanistic approach to psychotherapy and was groundbreaking in shifting the focus from the therapist as observer to the inclusion of self by the therapist, expressed in a dialogic relationship between therapist and client. In gestalt therapy, the therapist is focused on ho...

As we approach graduation season we recognize that as freeing as this phase can be, it can also feel uncertain, leaving many people wondering: What’s next?

Graduating from post-secondary education is a milestone that many people find both exciting and overwhelming. For the first time, the main focus is no longer attending classes and completing assignments, and the future seems wide open. With fewer daily constraints, the world feels full of possibilit...

Exercise is one of the most effective, accessible, and natural ways to support your mental health. It’s also something that doesn’t have to cost anything, depending on the type of exercise you choose.

Many of us think of exercise from a purely physical standpoint and whilst it is great as a way of promoting healthy joints and muscles and has many cardiac benefits, there is also a lot of research that shows the benefits of exercise on our mental health. Exercise is one of the
