My time in knowing Erica Poole
I met Erica for the first time a few years ago at my work. She wanted to come in and look at some herbal products i made and we had a really good chat for a long time. She grabbed a few things for her family.
Fast forward she contacts me on a day she had a huge schedule gap, she heard we were in a nasty car wreck and invited me to come to her home clinic. I was literally there for hours, talking about almost anything anyone could think of. She's one of those people you meet once and feel like you've known your whole life.
Then we had Wilhelm; pretty soon after his birth I'm certain he has something a miss in his neck affecting his nursing. I see Brendan my regular osteo initially as Erica was away enjoying time with her family. Upon her return I start follow ups about W***y with her as Brendan himself takes a summer leave.
Her expertise in the realm of infant care is something one can barely consider palpable. She uses touch and body re orientation but something else occurs simultaneously. She can assess and gather data from beyond physical reach. She was able to explain his life in utero, what happened during birth etc. She could register that during labor i knew W***y and I were in danger that night but medical staff keep calm and didn't verbalize what I knew in my heart and body was going wrong.
She also agreed with my theory as to why I developed polyhydramnios. She was able to ascertain so much about my entire uterine ecosystem and W***y's embryonic development as if she could peer into that universe.
Our last chat on Monday was about ancestors; how they carry souls, traits and ethereal love through the generations. She spoke about her 94 year old grandmother in England that she adores. She talked about lineage, the mystery of the soul and DNA all while casually working on my baby. She welcomed me to place my hands near him as she worked and her snuggly cat laid purring next to my sleeping child.
She ended our session with a hug and donation money for our book bag drive and booked me for next week...
I noticed she plays a lot of folk music and Sandy Denny and I was so excited to gift her a Playlist or cd to share beautiful songs.
She truly was remarkable and in what little time I knew her she blew me away. May she fly to heaven and watch over the children of the world she loved so dearly.
Rest in peace Erica and God bless your family.
