At the ARC, we love our social time, games, and prizes 🎉🎫

We are really good at letting staff know what we like ...and Radio Bingo is one of our favorites 🔊🎧🎼🕶

As we navigate transitioning into community, we like to take a moment and make memories together that will carry us into the next chapter of our 'Life Book' 📒📚 Transition takes time, and we are preparing for those milestones with the support of the caring staff ❤️

Socializing with peeps while playing a competitive game of Radio Bingo is where we find enjoyment 😉

Write the stories. Be the illustrator of your book. Create chapters filled with love and joyful memories 💖

With the Human Rights Remedy, all persons are entitled to choice in community living that meet their individual needs for support.

At Balsam, we work closely with the Department of Opportunities and Social Development to meet the supportive inclusion goals of those we support. As we move toward community living, our quality of care and high standards of practice are transferred to other qualified community programs and/or service providers. We are happy to be a part of a team that puts people first ❤️

When a person served is prepared and ready to go out into the big beautiful world with another provider or communitysupport program, we celebrate the milestone 🎉 We know their time with us is a gift to be cherished. Parties with friends is one of our favorite ways to celebrate 🍕🎂

We love success stories, especially when we've been a part of it 👏

It may not officially be summer, but we consider the first sunny days summer in Nova Scotia 😎

With warm weather comes BBQs and outings with friends 🧡

At the ARC, we have BBQ teams 😀, who volunteer their time to grill and chill, providing yummy summer delights.

When we can take a trip to Tim's with friends, we appreciate the time, cherishing the memories made in the community.

Recently, we wanted to show our community some love by cleaning around where we live.

A little cleaning up helps keep our communities a little safer for humans and pets. ❤️

At Balsam, we recently took in the sunshine while doing what we love....nurturing growth 🌷🪻

At the ARC, we have always enjoyed our annual gardening and planting activities. With each new year comes the opportunity to share in the experience with friends and staff while we watch our efforts grow into natural beauty. 🪴🌺

We also love this time of year....when staff drive their cool vintage cars to work and allow us to step inside a "time capsule" 🚘🚗😎

It may be a rainy Sunday but it is a new day to develop new ideas, make memories, and explore new things 😀
