Is it just me, or does tomorrow feel like the official switch back to routine?

I’ve always found September to feel like the time to get back on track after the easier breezier days of summer 🌞🍂

It can be overwhelming, everything that needs to planned and organized, all the elements we balance every day.

This is your gentle reminder to prioritize time for you too.

Breathe.
Book the self care session.
You’re worth it.

💛

“Caitlyn, why are you so passionate about your practice?”

Because,
I know.
I get it.

I have lived with intense physical pain.
I have lived with decreased mobility.
I have lived through deep emotional pain.
I have lived with panic attacks and anxiety.
I have lived with headaches and migraines.
I have lived with vertigo.
I have lived with insomnia.
I have lived through trauma.
I have lived in toxic environments.
I have lived in survival mode.
I have lived with grief.
I have lived through challenges.
I have lived.

Truly,
I know.
I get it.

And before anyone does a wellness check on me - ps thank you, I appreciate you 🙏🏼💛

Please know that I am not living in those spaces now.

And that is exactly why I am so passionate about doing everything in my power to help you find your way out of them too.

Because I know what it feels like to be in your shoes.

And I also know what it feels like to stand on the other side of those experiences.

I know there can be another side.
I know healing is possible.
I know life can feel different.

And I want that for you.

I have lived it.
I have experienced it.
I know.
I get it.

So when I get to walk alongside you, support you, and help you move toward feeling more like yourself again, it brings me an indescribable amount of joy.

Thank you for trusting me.
Thank you for allowing me into your journey.
And thank you for blessing me with the honour and privilege of doing this work ✨

It means more to me than you know.

🤍

You know me, I believe balance is key 🔑

That’s why the AC is on but so is the table warmer 🧊🔥

Towels hot ✔️
Lotion heated ✔️
Room temp on point ✔️

When your body is asking for a break…

Shoulders tense?
Jaw tight?
Mind racing?
Feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or completely drained?
Craving a pause?
Dying for just ONE hour where no one needs anything from you?

If you answered yes to any of these… consider this your sign to book the massage. 💆‍♀️✨

Come unplug. Exhale. Let your body soften. Let someone else take care of you for a change.

And the most common post-treatment review?

“I’m staying here forever.”

Honestly… we get it.

Do you ever feel guilty for taking care of yourself?

I do.

Recently, I made some changes to my schedule so I could take phenomenal care of myself.

And almost immediately, I felt that familiar wave of guilt rise up.

The interesting part?

Every single client impacted by those changes was supportive, understanding, accommodating, encouraging—and genuinely proud of me for choosing to take care of myself.

People often tell me that I inspire them when it comes to self-care.

And yet, I still feel guilty sometimes.

Maybe you do too.

And I want you to know: it’s okay.

It’s okay to feel the guilt and do it anyway.

It’s okay to prioritize yourself.

It’s okay to take up the space you need.

It’s okay to make changes that allow you to take amazing care of yourself—even when a little voice tells you that you shouldn’t.

Taking care of ourselves doesn’t always feel comfortable. Sometimes, it means unlearning years of believing that everyone else’s needs should come before our own.

So, if you’re still in the boat with me, learning to let go of the guilt…

I hear you.
I see you.
I get it.

And maybe we can remind each other:

We don’t have to earn the right to take care of ourselves 🩷

We talked about the words.

Now, let’s talk about the power of silence. 🤍

Silence is golden. ✨

But what does that really mean?

Silence creates space for your body to soften, settle, and rest.

It’s in that deep state of rest that your body can support its natural healing processes.

Your nervous system softens.
Your breathing slows.
Your muscles release.
Your mind becomes quieter.
And you may begin to feel safe, grounded, peaceful, and deeply relaxed.

In every session, there’s no pressure to talk.

You can share, you can soften, or you can have a little bit of both. There’s no right or wrong way to experience your treatment.

This is your treatment.
Your time.
Your space.
For YOU.

You’re allowed to pause.
You’re allowed to receive.
You’re worth the time and space it takes to feel good in your body.

🤍

Don’t forget to add yourself to the list of things to take care of this week 🤍

08/14/2026

This week, I cried at work.

It wasn’t the first time, and I know it won’t be the last.

This career has been one of the greatest gifts of my life. I’ve had the incredible honour of being the first to hear about the love story, the engagement, the pregnancy, the new beginnings, and all the magical moments that make life so beautiful.

I’ve also been trusted with the diagnosis, the loss, the betrayal, the heartbreak, the fear, the struggle — all the hard and heavy things that come with being human.

People have told me they hesitate to “download” onto me because they’re afraid I’ll take on their struggles.

In my line of work, we learn how to listen deeply, hold space, and be present without carrying someone else’s pain as our own. And honestly, it is an honour and a privilege to be a safe space for you.

My tears this week held so many things at once: love and loss, gratitude and grief, joy and devastation. A reminder of just how fragile, fleeting, precious, and finite this life is.

Sometimes it’s all beautifully, painfully, imperfectly intertwined.

So, thank you.

Thank you for trusting me with your stories. For allowing me to walk alongside you through both the light and the dark.

It is a privilege I will never take for granted.

💛

How blessed am I that my work space is one of my happy places 😌🩷✨
