I couldn't agree more. Japan recently declared it child abuse to tell kids they're going to hell, and honestly the rest of the world should catch up.

There is so, SO much wrong with indoctrinated children into believing they are inherently bad, teaching them to worship a being who threatens them with eternal torture of they don't obey, and so much more. It promotes things so grotesque, my page will have its views limited if I mention them so I'll simply say it's exactly what the Catholic Church is known for in all the worst ways.

Honestly, with the long list of terrible things the church is directly responsible for, it should be outlawed much in the way the spicy Austrian man and his ideals were in Germany after the 1940s, but as a bare minimum we should be stopping the grooming. If the "divine truth " is so true, surely adults will still agree to follow it. When they don't, I for one won't be surprised 🤷‍♀️

Speaking of religious extremists who cherry pick, if you want a religion whose leadership fully endorsed mass killings far worse than the attack 25 years ago, look at the ones with the crosses on their doors. Everything people have been told to hate about Islam, Christianity is far more guilty of.
