Dr. Jacqui Stone, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation ⁠

Dr. Jacqui Stone has been with Alberta Neurologic Centre for 5 years this August and splits her clinical time between her physiatry practice which includes musculoskeletal medicine and ultrasound guided procedures and the EMG Clinic. ⁠Dr. Stone is at ANC 3 days a week. ⁠
⁠
Dr. Stone enjoys her role in medical education and is often teaching medical students and residents. ⁠
⁠
When Jacqui is not in the clinic, she enjoys being active and spending time with her husband and daughter.

The Alberta Neurologic Centre Multiple Sclerosis Clinic turned 3️⃣ this month!⁠

Under the leadership of Medical Director Dr. Jonathan Fridhandler, it’s been another busy and rewarding year providing patient-centered care, compassion, and treatment to those living with Multiple Sclerosis.⁠
⁠
A new diagnosis often brings questions, concerns, and uncertainty. Our comprehensive team of health care providers is dedicated to supporting each patient and their families with individualized care and guidance every step of the way.⁠
⁠
Over the past year, the team has:⁠
• Conducted weekly MS Clinics⁠
• Hosted 4 MS Patient Education Sessions⁠
• Facilitated peer support groups⁠
• Attended international MS conferences⁠
• Continued ongoing internal education and professional development. This includes Stephanie, Samantha and Lori all successfully completing the CMSC Multiple Sclerosis Specialist Certification Exam!⁠

Dr. Scott Jarvis⁠, Neurologist and Co-Founder of Alberta Neurologic Centre.⁠
⁠
Dr. Jarvis is a man of many talents. His clinical practice is split between general neurology at Alberta Neurologic Centre and the Multiple Sclerosis Clinic at South Health Campus. Outside of clinical practice, you can often find him teaching. As a lecturer at the University of Calgary, he is passionate about sharing his love of neurology with aspiring neurologists and medical students. ⁠
⁠
When Dr. Jarvis isn’t at work, he enjoys spending time with his children, working out, and eating copious amounts of meat. If you haven’t already checked out his steak marinade recipe on our website, be sure to give it a try!
