Starting this journey (initially with my dear co-worker) has been both exciting and overwhelming. Behind the scenes were months of paperwork, policies, procedures, and preparation to ensure everything met Alberta’s standards for safe client care.
What many people don’t see is how thorough the inspection process is. AHS reviewed the protocols and procedures I will follow, the vitamins and products I plan to use, as well as the supplies and equipment involved in client care to ensure they align with provincial standards and safety requirements.
When it comes to healthcare services, safety matters. That’s why this process involved much more than simply inspecting a workspace.
Today, I’m proud to share that IV On Call YYC has successfully completed its AHS inspection and is approved to operate. 🤍
This isn’t the finish line, but it’s an important step forward and a reflection of the hard work, dedication, and commitment that went into building this business the right way from the start.
Even back in the Philippines in 2008, I was already providing care in people’s homes. Throughout my career, I’ve always believed that wellness and healing are best delivered where people feel most comfortable, supported, and at ease. Bringing healthcare directly to clients isn’t a new idea for me—it’s something I’ve been passionate about for many years.
IV On Call YYC is simply the continuation of that same mission, now here in Calgary (aside from the overwhelming list of requirements).
As a Registered Nurse-owned and operated business, my goal has always been to provide professional, safe, and convenient mobile IV therapy you can trust.
