As summer winds down, our daily routines often change almost overnight. Longer commutes, more time at a desk, carrying backpacks, and returning to regular schedules can all place different demands on our bodies.

The good news is that small habits can make a big difference. Taking regular movement breaks, changing positions throughout the day, and easing back into your routine can all help support healthy movement.

Sometimes it's not the big changes that matter most—it's the small ones we do consistently.

Packed up and moving on. 📦💙

It’s a strange feeling watching 31 years of memories get packed into boxes and loaded up for the move.

But every box coming out of the old clinic means we’re one step closer to welcoming you into the new one.

Same people. Same heart. Same commitment to the families we’ve been so fortunate to care for over the years.

Just a brand new space for the next chapter.

Here we go! 💙

Most of us don't think about rotation until we notice it becoming more difficult.

Whether you're checking your blind spot while driving, reaching behind you, or swinging a golf club, rotation is part of countless everyday activities. Like any movement, it benefits from regular use.

One of the simplest ways to support healthy mobility is to avoid staying in the same position for long periods and to include a variety of movements throughout your day. Your body is designed to move in many directions—not just forward and backward.

31 years. ❤️

Today is bittersweet as Dr. Dave turns off the lights in this clinic for the very last time.

For 31 years, this space has been filled with families, friendships, laughter, healing, and countless moments we’ll never forget. It’s hard not to get a little choked up saying goodbye.

But this isn’t the end. It’s a new beginning.

We can’t wait to welcome you into our new home and continue doing what we love most: caring for you, your families, and your friends, and witnessing the incredible things that can happen when we help the body work the way it was designed to.

Thank you for 31 unforgettable years in this space. 💙

Now, onto the next chapter.

A baby's development is like building a house—each new skill creates the foundation for the next.

Before a child can feed themselves with confidence, they first learn to reach, grasp, and explore objects with their hands. As those fine motor skills develop, they become the building blocks for more complex tasks like turning the pages of a book, using crayons, buttoning clothing, and eventually writing.

That's why healthcare professionals look at development as a journey rather than a series of isolated milestones. Each new skill builds on the one before it, helping children gain confidence and independence as they grow.

Summer might be winding down, but that doesn’t mean the adventures have to. ☀️⛰️

This throwback to Dr. Monique climbing Mount Kilimanjaro felt like a good reminder to make the most of the warm days while we still have them!

School is starting, vacations are wrapping up, and many of us are getting back into our regular routines. But there’s still plenty of time to get outside, explore, move your body, and squeeze a little more adventure out of the season.

We hope you’re making the most of it while we’re busy with an adventure of our own this week... moving into our new clinic! 📦💙

And the next time you see us, it’ll be at our brand new location in Suite 404 at 1919 Sirocco Dr SW!

We can’t wait to welcome you in.

What adventures do you still have planned before the warm weather disappears? 👇

It's natural to compare your baby's milestones with those of other children—but crawling doesn't happen on the exact same timeline for everyone.

Some babies begin crawling earlier than expected, while others take a little longer. Some even skip traditional crawling and move directly toward standing and walking. Every child develops differently.

What's most important is looking at the bigger picture. Is your baby continuing to learn new skills? Are they becoming stronger, more curious, and finding new ways to explore their environment? These patterns often tell us more than one milestone alone.

If your baby isn't making progress over time, seems to have lost previously learned skills, or you have concerns about how they're moving, it's always appropriate to speak with a healthcare professional. Asking questions early can provide reassurance and, when needed, help guide the next steps.

It's easy to lose track of time when you're focused on work, enjoying a good book, or settling in for a movie. Before you know it, you've been in the same position for much longer than you realized.

Our bodies are built to adapt to movement. Regularly changing positions throughout the day helps distribute the workload across different muscles and joints instead of placing prolonged stress on the same tissues.

The good news? You don't need to overhaul your routine. Small movement breaks—standing up, taking a short walk, or gently stretching—can all be simple ways to keep your body moving throughout the day.
