Your acne has a map… or does it? 🤔

You’ve probably seen charts like this claiming each area of your face points to a specific cause:

📍Forehead = digestive issues
📍Cheeks = pillowcases or greasy foods
📍Nose = excess oil
📍Chin = hormones
…and so on.

So… myth or fact?

Short answer?
Some of it is true. Some of it is outdated. Some of it is simply unsupported by research.

The science is more nuanced than the internet makes it seem.

Some areas can provide helpful clues. For example:
✔️ Jawline acne is often linked to hormones.
✔️ Hair products can contribute to forehead breakouts.
