Back in May we held our Annual Mother's day tea. We would like to thank you for coming and supporting our activitiy department. It is one of our fundraisers that we have that lets our residents enjoy so many outing throughout the year like going to the Butterfly House, a boat ride of the Charlottetown harbor, a sleigh ride, and so many more. Without you it would not be possible so thank you so much!❤️❤️❤️

A Wonderful Art Demonstration at Geneva Villa! 🎨
Yesterday, residents of Geneva Villa enjoyed a special and inspiring moment as talented artist Henry Purdy demonstrated his skills live in front of them.
Henry created a beautiful portrait of an island scene right before their eyes. While painting, he warmly explained the sizes and types of paint brushes he uses, as well as the primary colors that bring his artwork to life.
The residents were fully engaged — many asked thoughtful questions throughout the demonstration, and everyone was delighted as the stunning island portrait took shape and was completed during the session.
It was a joyful and memorable experience for all at our community care facility. The finished painting received many compliments and brought smiles to every face!
A big thank you to Henry Purdy for sharing your talent, time, and passion with our residents. Events like these truly brighten our community! ✨

We always host a "Captain's Dinner" at the end of our Cruise month. This year we visited Budapest, Monterrey Mexico 🇲🇽, Ireland 🇮🇪,and Bosnia 🇧🇦. The meal was prepared by our kitchen staff, we enjoyed hibiscus salad, creamy chicken breast with a paprika sauce with roasted red potatoes, carrots with honey herb butter and for dessert an overlapping of vanilla cream and smooth vanilla cake( so yummy). We would like to thank Malcolm Beaton for playing our Captain plus our amazing staff for helping make this an evening to remember.

Our last place to visit during our "cruise month" was Medjugorje a village in Bosnia. Barb did a presentation by showing a video of one of her trips there( she was there 3 times) and lots of pictures for the residents to look at. The residents had lots of questions to ask and she answered everyone of them. Such an interesting place to visit. Thank you Barb! 🇧🇦

Cecilia did a presentation on her home town Monterrey, Mexico 🇲🇽. The residents really enjoyed learning new things during our cruise month. The residents enjoyed a treat in the dining room after she finished her presentation! Thank you Cecilia❤️
