A huge thank you to Taylor Johnson! ❤️
Today while taking one of our guys to an appointment, our van died in the parking lot.
Taylor saw what happened and offered us a boost. Then when we came back, she went even further and offered to buy a brand new battery and have it installed.
We were blown away by her kindness and generosity.
Thank you, Taylor, for blessing Journeys Recovery Home in such a practical way today. Your kindness made a real difference and reminded us how powerful community can be.

Happy Mother’s Day from all of us at Journeys Recovery Home ❤️
Today we honor the mothers who never stopped praying, never stopped loving, and never gave up even through the hardest seasons. So many of the men who come through our doors are alive today because a mother stood in the gap for them through addiction, homelessness, brokenness, and despair.
To every mother carrying burdens behind closed doors, crying silent tears, praying for prodigal sons and daughters, or holding a family together through faith and strength… we see you, and we thank God for you.
“Her children rise up and call her blessed…”

Your prayers matter. Your love matters. Your sacrifices matter more than you know.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Signal Fire event scheduled for May 14th will no longer be taking place.

While we are disappointed to postpone this gathering, we are incredibly grateful for the support, encouragement, and interest shown by our community. We remain passionate about creating spaces for connection and conversations surrounding men’s mental health, addiction, and recovery, and we look forward to future opportunities to bring people together.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate everyone’s understanding and support.

All ticket holders will be contacted directly regarding refunds. Refunds will be processed and sent within 5 to 10 business days.

OUTREACH AT THAMES CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP
We are so grateful to have been welcomed at Thames Christian Fellowship today. What a blessing it was to gather together in worship, lift up the name of Jesus, and share what He is doing through Journeys Recovery Home.
There is something powerful about coming together as the body of Christ. Hearing testimonies, seeing lives transformed, and witnessing the work of God reminds us that freedom is real and restoration is possible.
Today was more than just a visit. It was a moment to reflect on the goodness of God and to give Him all the glory for the lives being changed. Every testimony shared is a reminder that Jesus is still in the business of setting people free.
Thank you again to everyone at Thames Christian Fellowship for your warmth, your openness, and your hearts for the Kingdom. We were truly encouraged.

Today was Earth Day… and what better way to celebrate than by getting our hands dirty for something that matters.

Alongside our friends at the Downtown Chatham BIA and Come Together CK, the Journeys men took some time to help clean up our downtown.
Every bag filled is a step toward something better.
Every person who showed up is proof that community is still alive.
Every small act adds up to real impact.
This is what Earth Day is about. Not just awareness, but action.
Let’s keep showing up for our city and show some love for this amazing crew.💚
