Happy Seniors Week from Cartwright Cares!
Seniors are the heart of our community: teachers, caregivers, builders, storytellers, and friends. This week, we celebrate you and the countless ways you make the Crowsnest Pass brighter. We’re grateful to support you, learn from you, and cheer you on every day.

Come say “hi” to us this week:

💚 Community Market (Thursday 3:00-7:00pm at the Gazebo Park in Blairmore) at the Creative Works wood shop table.

🩵 Coleman Seniors (7801 18 Ave, Coleman) at 1:00pm for the “Aging Well in the Crowsnest Pass” presentation (open to all).

We are so incredibly proud of Taryn Belmore and Meghan Tarcon for walking across the stage at the Spring 2026 University of Lethbridge convocation! 🎓🎓

Both Taryn and Meghan completed 560 hours of practicum at Cartwright Cares in the past year to acquire their Bachelors of Therapeutic Recreation.

We are also lucky to say both remain as part-time staff at Cartwright Cares!

Recreation Therapists work to improve quality of life through meaningful recreation activities. At Cartwright Cares we provide both goal-based therapy and diversional programming.

Thank you Taryn and Meghan for all you do to improve the lives of our clients - you make a difference every day. 💓👏
