At FYidoctors, our Children’s Vision Program is designed to help detect, monitor, and manage myopia early, supporting your child’s vision as they grow and learn.

Welcoming Dr. Chin to the Comox Valley and FYidoctors team! 🤓🥳

Dr. Heather Chin received her Doctor of Optometry from the University of Waterloo in 2016. She spent the first five years of her career practicing in Ontario before moving to Vancouver, where she owned and operated her own optometry clinic in downtown Vancouver.

Dr. Chin enjoys caring for patients of all ages and building lasting relationships with her patients and their families. She has a special interest in dry eye disease and enjoys finding practical, personalized treatments to help her patients feel more comfortable.

More recently, Dr. Chin and her family traded city life for Vancouver Island, looking for a little more space, a slower pace, and more time outdoors. They are excited to call the Comox Valley home and become part of the community.

Away from the clinic, Dr. Chin loves spending time outside with her family, whether they're hiking, swimming, biking, or skiing.
Dr. Chin is excited to join the FYidoctors Comox team and looks forward to meeting and caring for patients in her new community.
