Today is World Mental Health Day 🧠✨💙

Mental Health IS health. At Qi, we know there’s no one-size-fits-all when it comes to people, brains, challenges, or what support looks like. Everyone is different, with unique needs, strengths, and talents, and that’s AWESOME! 🎉

Sometimes support looks like therapy. Sometimes it looks like movement, creativity, connection, play, or having someone in your corner to celebrate wins and progress (big and small!). 🌈✨

Today and EVERY day, let's break the stigma and make space for open conversations, kindness, connection, and asking for help when you need it. ❣️ You don’t have to figure it all out on your own.

At a recent visit, Coach Karen was fixing up a client’s bike! 🚲🔧 Physical Therapists (PTs) wear a LOT of hats in our world! And sometimes that means adding bike mechanic to the list! 😂

At a recent Qi Mastermind, our team tried a martial arts and boxing pattern as a fun regulation activity.

Movement, rhythm, focus, and coordination all come together to help us reset, reconnect, and get our bodies and brains ready to learn. 🔄⚡

Progressive Balance challenge! ⚖️

Who knew a few strips of tape could create such a great gradual balance activity? 🎯💙 We love using tape lines to gradually build balance, focus, coordination, and body control.

Start with one line ➡️ then try two lines ➡️ and slowly move them closer together to make the challenge just a little bigger each time. 🌟

Simple setup, and an easy way to practice balance, focus, and body control in an achievable and confidence-building way, right at home. 🙌😊

Today, on National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we take time to honour the survivors of residential schools and remember the children who never returned home. Part of our continued work and growth supporting Indigenous people in Canada includes education, support, and promoting equity and justice. 🧡
