NEW 8-WEEK MORNING YOGA SERIES: BACKBENDS FROM THE GROUND UP
Starting tomorrow in our early morning classes, we’ll be exploring backbends in a way that is intentional, progressive, and supportive for every body.
Backbends are energizing and great to start your day!
This is NOT a “how flexible can you get” series.
Instead, we’ll spend 8 weeks learning how backbends actually work — by building strength in the back body while gradually opening the front body in a safe and sustainable way.
Each week we’ll focus on one major muscle group that supports backbends and one area of the body that benefits from gentle opening. We’ll keep a familiar class structure each week so you can truly feel your progress over time — not just in the poses themselves, but in your awareness, confidence, posture, breath, and strength.
We’ll begin with foundational movements like Cobra and Locust, then slowly build toward deeper expressions such as Camel, Bow, and optional Wheel variations by the end of the series.
