Renew Health would like to welcome Wanda Brown to our administrative team. 👋🏼 💻

Wanda will be working part-time/casual with us and we are excited to have her aboard! 🤜🏼🤛🏼

Originally from Fogo, Newfoundland 🪨 Wanda moved to Nova Scotia in 2000 and is proud to call East Hants home. She is grateful for the life she has built here and the community she has become part of.

Wanda brings many years of customer service experience in a health-care setting, along with experience working in classrooms with the Halifax Regional Centre for Education as an Educational Program Assistant.

She is excited to begin this new opportunity and looks forward to meeting new people, building connections, and contributing wherever she can. Wanda is grateful to be part of the team and looks forward to all that this new chapter brings

We would like to announce the addition of Alex Egers, Physiotherapist to our team!! 🏋️‍♂️🏌️‍♂️

Alex is starting full time with us on Monday, August 24th!

Alex was born and raised in Fredericton, New Brunswick, where he attended the University of New Brunswick, graduating with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology in 2018, holding both Dean’s List and Academic All-Canadian honours. He then completed a Masters of Science in Physiotherapy at Dalhousie University in 2020. Since completing his physiotherapy degree, he has remained in Nova Scotia, serving mainly rural communities.

Alex’s approach to physiotherapy is patient-centred and combines patient education, manual therapy techniques, and a strong focus on individualized exercise programs. Ultimately, Alex’s goal is to help address his patients’ unique needs and provide them with the tools to be successful in reaching their rehabilitation goals using tailored treatment plans.

Growing up, Alex was heavily involved in activities and sports, playing and training for hockey 🏒 soccer ⚽, and volleyball 🏐 at high levels, with the highest level being University Volleyball while attending the University of New Brunswick. Alex brings his passion for sports and exercise into his practice, and when he is not working, he can be found at the gym, on the golf course ⛳, on the court, relaxing with friends, or returning home to visit family.

You may have noticed a fresh face around the clinic lately! We would like to welcome Marlee McQuillan as our new front desk admin. Marlee is taking on a part time role with us as well as starting her teaching career this September 📚 💻

Born and raised in East Hants, Marlee has always had a strong care for and involvement in her community. Her passion for supporting others is reflected in both her role at Renew Health and her work as a new teacher. She's genuinely very excited to connect with members and help however she can!

Growing up and still today, Marlee skied, played volleyball, and swam competitively, all of which sparked a deep appreciation for movement and wellness. Marlee likes to recharge by spending time outdoors and with her family, friends, and dog Stella.
