Our spa is home to several independent businesses. Gift certificates are redeemable only with the practitioner or business from whom they were purchased unless otherwise specified. Independent practitioners are solely responsible for honoring their own gift certificates.
NEW POLICY update:
In the past we have honored by "switching" between providers to accommodate using a gift certificate with the provider in which that individual sees.
However, by doing this we actually lose money and here's why:
Each Provider claims their own income, which means when a gift certificate is purchased there is a debit machine charge (a different percent depending the card), the cost of the card, 5% GST charge and roughly 30% goes to income tax. When we transfer the gift card over, we pay out of pocket to that provider which means we have claimed money we essentially have to give away.
We do our best guiding the purchaser if we know who that individual sees for services, but it's not our responsibility if the wrong gift certificate is purchased.

In the RARE chance,
If for instance you see massage therapist "A" and got a gift certificate for massage therapist "B", and do not wish to use it with massage therapist "B" there is a 30% charge on the gift certificate amount. This is a huge compromise in which no other business would accommodate. Please respect that we are small businesses trying to do what we are passionate about ❤️

As RMTs, our job extends beyond the treatment room. We help clients understand why they're experiencing pain, tension, headaches, or restricted movement, and what they can do to support their health between appointments.

RMTs are trained to help you feel better, whether that's through therapeutic treatment, relaxation, or a blend of both.
