Groves Hospital Foundation's Mission: Dedicated to raising and stewarding funds for Groves Memorial Community Hospital, to ensure that the residents of Centre Wellington and surrounding areas receive optimal health care. Current Campaign - The New Groves Hospital Project: Our community deserves the best healthcare. A positive patient experience is at the forefront of our thinking. Our new facility

will be a model in the delivery of patient-centered rural healthcare. It will have the ability to deliver a model of care that aligns with best practice; it will be capable of accommodating modern technology, providing a framework to address future flexibility and changes in technology; it will have welcoming public spaces and comforting views; meet accessibility standards; our new Inpatient Unit will be 80% private rooms; it will provide facilities that meet infection prevention and control standards and reflect best practices and evidence-based design; the overall footprint of our new hospital will almost double in size to meet the demands of our growing community. Celebrating Pride through small moments of connection & support. 🌈

Throughout the month, staff enjoyed snacks from our Pride-themed snack cart and picked up Pride stickers & pins as a way to show support, celebrate inclusivity, & foster a welcoming environment for all.

To all of the fathers, grandfathers, fathers-to-be, father-figures, those wish they were fathers, and holding special space for dads missing their children and children missing their dads today.

Whatever fatherhood looks like for your family; today we celebrate all of the Dads. Including the “father” of the Groves Baby Onesie Program, Bill Rowe, & these dads of “Groves Babies”!

Our garden is officially planted for the season!

A big thank you to our Support Services Team for the time, care, & hard work they put into growing fresh vegetables that will be enjoyed in our café and by our patients throughout the summer.

We’d also like to extend our gratitude to Gerrie’s Farm Market for generously providing supplies and helping make this garden possible.

We can’t wait to watch it grow! 🌿🥕🍅

On June 3, our Foundation celebrated our 2025-6 AGM. We marked many exciting milestones, including raising $2.9M for our hospital, and welcomed 3 new Board Members.

Behind every blood donation is a patient whose life may be changed forever.

For patients undergoing surgery, receiving cancer treatment, recovering from trauma, or facing unexpected medical emergencies, a reliable blood supply can make all the difference.

This World Blood Donor Day, we thank the individuals who give the gift of life through blood donation and encourage others to consider donating to help ensure patients receive the care they need, when they need it most.

The SLT at Emmanuel Christian High School held their annual Car Wash for Groves on May 16! 💦🧼🧽🫧🚘

This year, they raised $1,081 for a new Respiratory Humidifier for OBS!! 👶

The SLT have been hosting this event for Groves since 2017! Through this and other school events, ECHS have raised over $13,600 for our hospital!! Thank you to the students, their faculty leads, and everyone who visited the car wash! 💜💚

🔥🧯🚒👶 Guelph Firefighters Benevolent Foundation have generously donated $7,500 to fund a new Obstetrics Crash Cart. The Crash Cart will aid in any emergency birth situations. Last year, over 655 new babies were born at GMCH!

This gift is in addition to showing up with a dozen volunteers & working the entire Golf for Groves Tournament alongside Foundation volunteers. As well as their generous annual diaper donations for new babies at the Holidays. The Guelph Firefighters Benevolent Foundation have always supported Groves, in so many ways.

Altogether, since 2002 they have contributed an astounding $144,200 to fund the vital needs of Groves.

Thank you Guelph Firefighters for everything you do for our entire community, and especially for our hospital! 👏🏼
