Anyone who has visited Lifestyle in the last six months, may recognize his face from the gym in our clinic. Meet Nash, a hardworking and resilient athlete who underwent a leg amputation last year after an osteosarcoma diagnosis.

This summer, we’ve enjoyed supporting him getting back to playing sports. Unfortunately Nash’s cancer has returned and he’s presently in Toronto for further testing and treatments. His parents, Amy and Chris, have been by his side every step of the way, which means a tremendous loss in income.

Lifestyle Physiotherapy is seeking a part time evening Receptionist/Physiotherapy Aid. Hours to be determined. Previous experience is an asset but not required. Training is provided. High School Diploma is required.
Receptionist Duties:
* Answering and forwarding telephone calls
* Greeting patients
* Scheduling patient appointments
* Submitting insurance claims and receiving payments
* Nightly cash deposits
* Nightly cleaning and disinfecting
Physiotherapist Aid Duties:
* Greeting patients and escorting them to our patient rooms
* Applying heat or cold packs, setting up various machines ( electro therapy, laser, ultrasound) under the supervision of a Physiotherapist
* Cleaning and disinfecting of patient rooms
* Washing and drying of all linens

The Lifestyle staff and families would like to thank the International Lounge Foundation CYQX for inviting us to take part in such a special project ✈️

Created in partnership with the Town of Gander, the International Lounge Foundation spearheaded a community mural project commemorating the 25th anniversary of Gander’s response to 9/11.

This special project is bringing together hundreds of community members to help create a lasting work of art celebrating the kindness, compassion, and hospitality that defined our town during one of history’s most difficult moments.

Every tile tells a story. Every participant becomes part of the legacy.
