MEET THE STAFF MONDAY 👋

Say hello to Peter Corbin! Peter joined our team in September 2021 and works as a jack of all trades around the pharmacy. While Peter's primary full-time job currently keeps him on the road, he is always there to lend a hand (and complete his to-do list) when he comes home!

Peter helps out in most all areas around the pharmacy, including the heavy lifting, the handy man jobs, maintaining our water filtration system, and much more! He is also responsible for our Headstrong Supplement section, an area of the pharmacy he takes pride in and is incredibly knowledgable about.

When asked what his favourite part of working at Grand Falls Drug Store is, Peter says, "Helping customers when I can and making sure everything is in working order around the store for the staff." He also commented on his love for the meals that staff often bring in to the store on the weekends!

When Peter isn't busy working he enjoys watching sports, staying active by running and weight training, and spending time with his other half, Vanessa! 🏃‍♂️

MEET THE STAFF MONDAY 👋

Say hello to Dr. Kiana Pynn! Kiana joined our pharmacy team as a pharmacist in December 2023. Kiana joined us upon graduating from Memorial University's Doctor of Pharmacy Program and has been an incredibly valuable member of our team ever since.

After graduating, Kiana was excited to move back to her home town and start her career. Kiana is an extremely knowledgable, compassionate and down-to-earth pharmacist, who is such a great asset to our clinical pharmacy team. She is known for her in-depth medication reviews - identifying medication related problems for patients and correcting them, to help improve medication safety and efficacy.

When asked what her favourite part of working at Grand Falls Drug Store is, Kiana says, "Getting to spend time with some pretty great co-workers and of course interacting with all of the wonderful patients we get to treat!"

When Kiana isn't busy working she likes to keep active by going to the gym and participating in local team recreation leagues! 🏒

MEET THE STAFF MONDAY 👋

Say hello to Magnus Gillingham! Magnus joined our prescription delivery service team in February 2023. Magnus started off doing deliveries with his mom, but this past year he officially received his drivers license and has been doing an awesome job on his own!

If you're a delivery regular at the pharmacy, you will typically see Magnus's friendly face every second weekend and a couple nights each week. Magnus takes great pride in his role at the pharmacy! He is a very dedicated and reliable employee, eagerly picking up any shift that comes his way.

When asked what his favourite part of working at Grand Falls Drug Store is, Magnus says, "Interacting and having conversations with my co-workers". He also commented on the proud moment he had when he received his work shirt with his name on it!

When Magnus isn't busy working he enjoys listening to The Tragically Hip and learning to play his guitar. 🎸

MEET THE STAFF MONDAY 👋

Say hello to Rebecca Wicks! Rebecca joined our pharmacy team as a pharmacy assistant in November 2016. Rebecca is a very empathetic and compassionate individual, making her an asset when it comes to patient care.

Rebecca is known for going above and beyond for patients. Whether it be helping to fill out a special authorization drug form, contacting a patients insurance, or finding medication payment assistance programs for patients - Rebecca is usually our go-to girl!

When asked what her favourite part of working at Grand Falls Drug Store is, Rebecca says, "I enjoy interacting with the public and helping others. Our patients are a big part of why I like working here and my co-workers are great too! It's a very positive place to work."

When Rebecca isn't busy working she enjoys spending time with her sweet family, drawing, and playing guitar. 🎶
