And what a way to finish her favourite Hi Los!

This Wabi Sabi crepe silk feels MADE for autumn with burnt brick red, gingersnap, taupe grey and white.

But then you see the sleeve. 😍

Beautiful floral embroidery begins on one side and travels all the way down the tail, bringing in coral orange, cranberry, pale gingersnap and chartreuse green.

A hidden Wabi Sabi treasure that Mira very nearly overlooked.

Missa’s photo made us smile. She’s wearing one of her favourite sariKNOTsari styles, our pure silk Tunic Length Kaftan, while visiting an exhibition of the AIDS Memorial Quilt. ❤️

Missa loves her kaftans for some very practical reasons: they’re comfortable, colourful and easy to wear year-round. She also has an eye for the little details, especially finding one-of-a-kind silks with beautiful embellishments.

That’s one of our favourite things about working with vintage saris. Every piece has already lived a life before it becomes something new, and details like embroidery, beading and decorative borders can make a garment feel particularly special.

Mira pulled this gorgeous crepe Hi Lo as one of her current favourites, and the colour alone makes it a standout.

Crepe silk gives you that soft, fluid drape without the sheerness of Georgette, making this an incredibly easy piece to layer over your favourite linen pants, a simple dress or your travel basics.

And with a one-of-a-kind vintage silk like this, the easiest way to build an outfit is to let the Hi Lo be the star. ✨

Welcome to our new weekly release rhythm at sariKNOTsari ✨

Every week, we’ll be curating a fresh collection of one-of-a-kind pure silk treasures inspired by a colour story, a mood, a texture, or an idea we can’t stop thinking about.
Zoinks! We’re heading back to the ’70s.

The Scooby-Doo Collection takes its inspiration from the wonderfully groovy colour palette of the original animated series. Think avocado greens, aqua blues, punchy purples, hot pinks, warm browns and unexpected splashes of orange and coral.

It was an era when colours weren’t afraid to hang out with unlikely friends, and these silks have that same playful spirit. You’ll find bold florals, swirling abstracts, graphic shapes and fabulous combinations that feel like they wandered straight out of a 1970s Saturday morning cartoon.

There’s something wonderfully nostalgic about this palette, but these silks feel just as fun today. Pair them with denim, pull out one unexpected colour with your accessories, or lean all the way into the groovy and mix things up.

The Scooby-Doo Collection is colourful, quirky and just a little bit kooky.
And we would have gotten away with a boring collection too, if it weren’t for those meddling silks. 😉

The PREVIEW pieces will appear online but will show as unavailable for purchase until Sunday at 8 PM EST.

Any existing in-stock pieces shown alongside the collection will still be available to purchase immediately.

✨ FRIDAY — FRIDAY LIVE
Every Friday at 8 PM EST, we go LIVE on Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.

This is where we:
• style the upcoming collection
• show fabrics and details up close
• answer questions in real time
• mix the new pieces with existing favourites
• talk styling, fit, layering, travel, colour, and life as usual 😉

It’s part styling session, part silk appreciation society, part Friday night hangout.

✨ SUNDAY — SUNDAY DROP
Then on Sunday at 8 PM EST, the PREVIEW pieces officially release for purchase online.

The countdown ends.
The silks go live.
And the race for favourites begins 😅

First up: a floaty sky-blue floral Hi Lo with unexpected pinky-purple, pale yellow and fluorescent green details.

Then Mira finds a serious “business in the front, party in the back” moment. ❤️ Turn around that seemingly simple red Hi Lo and WOW. That incredible patterned tail changes everything.

The Scooby-Doo Collection is our love letter to those wonderfully weird and groovy colour combinations of the 1970s. The palette was inspired by the original animated series and that unmistakable era of big florals, funky graphics and colours that were never afraid to have a little fun together.

And somehow, in silk, they feel fabulous all over again. 💜🧡💚🩵
