Good evening everyone,

I personally wanted to come on this evening to take a moment to say a huge thank you to everyone who has been supporting Lifeline Blood Collection over the past few months.

The response from our communities has honestly been incredible, and we’re so grateful to see so many people continuing to avail of our walk-in services each week. Whether you’ve visited us in Holyrood or Bay Roberts, thank you for your patience and support while we continue to grow.

One of the best parts of this experience has been getting to know so many familiar faces and hearing the positive feedback from patients who appreciate having more accessible blood collection services in their area. And my personal favourite line is, I only let Jessika do my Bloodwork now.((Thanks))

We’re also excited to share that after the summer season, we look forward to expanding our Bay Roberts location to additional days each week as we continue growing and serving the community.

You’ll be seeing Chelsey working alongside me at both our Bay Roberts Clinic and Holyrood Clinic! 🩸💉

Chelsey is new to phlebotomy, so we kindly ask everyone to be patient, supportive, and kind as she continues learning and growing in her new role. We’re so excited to have her join the team! ❤️

When Chelsey isn’t at the clinic doing blood collections, she loves spending time with her dog Marley 🐶, crafting, camping, sitting around the fire, and making memories with her partner.

Thank you to everyone who applied for the Receptionist position at our Bay Roberts location. We have been working through interviews this week and are now down to our final candidates.

We truly appreciate the interest shown in this position and the time each applicant took to apply.

For those who may have missed this opportunity, please note that after the summer we will be hiring for another Receptionist position at our Bay Roberts location. This role will be for two days per week and will offer the same rate of pay and position details as our current posting.

❌❌❌Bay Roberts Blood Collection Clinic Move effective JULY 1st ❌❌❌❌

To all of our valued clients, we want to let everyone know that our Bay Roberts blood collection clinic will be moving locations once again. From 1 excel place under the dental clinic to the Joe Corbett Building located at 494 conception bay highway bayroberts

While we understand this may appear unprofessional from the outside, we want to be transparent and explain that this move is being made with our clients’ comfort and convenience in mind.

As many of you know, our Thursday and Friday walk-in clinics have become extremely busy, and parking at our current location has become a challenge for both clients and neighboring businesses.

We never want patients feeling stressed trying to find parking before coming for blood work.

Our new location is just up the street and offers a much more functional setup, including unlimited parking with space to accommodate up to 50 vehicles.

This will allow for a smoother, more comfortable experience for everyone visiting the clinic.
Unfortunately, finding the right space for a fully functional walk-in blood collection clinic in Bay Roberts has not been as easy as it has been for us in Holyrood. Sometimes it takes a little trial and error to find the best long-term fit for both our clients and our staff.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding while we continue working to improve our services. Our goal has always been to provide fast, professional, and accessible blood collection services to the community, and we truly believe this move will help us do that even better.

We are currently seeking qualified healthcare professionals to join our team at our Holyrood blood collection location on a casual basis.

Applicants must be one of the following:
• MLA (Medical Laboratory Assistant)
• MLT (Medical Laboratory Technologist)
• RN (Registered Nurse)
• Certified Phlebotomist

⚠️ Applicants who are not certified in one of the above areas will not be considered.

Position Details:
• Casual position
• Pay: $25–$30 per hour
• Six-week schedules provided in advance
• Fast-paced work environment
• Experience in blood collection is considered a strong asset

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment and providing excellent customer service to patients.

Position Details
• Location: Bay Roberts
• Schedule: Thursdays & Fridays
• Hours: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.�(Some days may run slightly later depending on clinic flow.)
• Pay: $18.00 per hour
• Benefits: No health or dental benefits at this time
• Potential Growth: Opportunity to transition into a 4-day-per-week position after summer

Duties Include
• Typing and printing patient labels
• Verifying correct patient spelling and
information
• Greeting and assisting patients
• Light housekeeping duties
• Ensuring clinic stock and supplies are maintained
• Keeping washrooms and reception areas clean and organized
