GreenTree Community Inclusion Programs is a full service organization providing innovative solutions and care for individuals with diverse abilities.

GreenTree Programs believes in providing barrier free services to assist people with higher needs to achieve a fulfilling life through community, empowerment and companionship. Our mandate is to find creative solutions to facilitate inclusion for all of our clients, regardless of ability. We are a small community organization that specializes in the transition of young adults from school aged services to adult living programs. With twelve years of experience in community inclusion, we have the ability and expertise to provide quality care and structure to any individual with diverse abilities. We also have a special focus on persons with higher needs who may require more attention and care and who may otherwise be ineligible for similar programs.

Ask our team why they do this work and the answer is almost always the same: “I’m here for the kids.”

That shared purpose runs through every role at GreenTree, from frontline support workers to program managers. It’s why our team shows up for long shifts, celebrates the small wins, and puts so much care into creating happy, stable homes for the youth we serve.

This work asks a lot of people, so we put just as much focus on supporting our team. Balancing care for yourself with care for others isn’t always easy, but it’s part of how we build a workplace where people stay, grow, and find a career they’re proud of.

Some of our program managers first joined us planning to stay for a summer. They took weekend shifts while finishing school, built trust with the youth in our homes, and found work they couldn’t walk away from.

That frontline experience became the foundation for leadership: support worker to supervisor, supervisor to program manager. Because our leaders have done the work, they listen first and find solutions alongside their teams.

When staff feel heard and valued, the homes we support are happier places for everyone.

Our front-line team works closest with the people we support, which means they often spot what others miss. At GreenTree Programs, when a support worker raises a question or concern, we listen. Many of our policies started exactly that way: one team member asking, “What should I do here?” and that answer becoming a standard for everyone.

It’s something we hear from new support workers all the time. Too often in this field, people are handed a policy manual and sent in on their own. At GreenTree Programs, every new team member trains one-on-one alongside an experienced staff member, with each person served, for as long as it takes to feel ready.

Being new to a role in care shouldn’t mean being left on your own before you’re ready.

At GreenTree Programs, every support worker trains alongside a senior staff member, one-on-one with each person served, before ever working a shift alone. If you’re not ready yet, you simply get more training. No pressure, no rushing, even when we’re short-staffed.
