I was recently on a podcast discussing grief and the host mentioned this quote. It really resonated with me in. I know it does with so many others... See podcast link below.
A mother and blogger named Jamie Anderson - "Grief, I've learned, is really just love. It's all the love you want to give but cannot give. The more you loved someone, the more you grieve. All of that unspent love gathers up in the corners of your eyes and in that part of your chest that gets empty and hollow feeling. The happiness of love turns to sadness when unspent. Grief is just love with no place to go."

The quote was originally written in March 2014 on her personal blog, All My Loose Ends. The original context of the quote details the double heartbreak of losing her mother and subsequently caring for her late mother's aging dog.

• Hold it for 4 seconds
