With the sun shining and gardens in full bloom, there couldn’t be a more beautiful addition to our outdoor spaces at Lisaard House than these vibrant Adirondack chairs. ☀️

Each patio outside our residents’ rooms has been updated with two new chairs, lovingly dedicated in memory of Andy Stumpf. This meaningful addition was made possible through the 14th Annual Andy Stumpf Memorial Golf Tournament, held in September 2025. The care, dedication, and generosity behind this event continue to inspire us and are deeply felt by everyone at Lisaard & Innisfree Hospice.

These refreshed spaces now offer residents and their families a more comfortable place to sit together, enjoy the fresh air, take in the natural surroundings, and find moments of peace. 🌲

We are excited to introduce our new care carts and trays at our hospice houses. These thoughtful additions are designed to better support individuals and families spending time at the bedside.
Each cart and tray is stocked with tea, coffee, water, and light snacks; simple comforts that can make a meaningful difference during vulnerable moments.

Sometimes it’s the little things that help bring ease, warmth, and care when it matters most. 💜

We do our best to make our hospice houses feel as much like home as possible, with peaceful rooms, beautiful gardens, and nature all around. 🌲🐦 These comforts can bring calm, connection, and a sense of familiarity during a meaningful time

The support for our 17th Annual Hike for Hospice has been incredible! Teams and individuals have been working hard to fundraise and contribute to this special event, it’s truly inspiring to see. 🩵

We are so proud of our amazing team! All of our staff are compassionate individuals who bring warmth, dignity and care to our residents and families every single day. Thank you for being the light in our houses.

Last summer, one of our families introduced themselves as the Executive Director of Invasive Phragmites Control Centre, and met with our Operations Assistant Manager. They walked around Lisaard House, she told us about her organization, and pointed out all the invasive plants and trees we have around the property.

She then expressed how much she would like to give back to us for the care of her mom and her family. 💙

In and around the pond, we have highly invasive Phragmites and Buckthorn trees, which she explained they could remove and properly dispose of, helping improve the health of the pond and property and enhance the view for residents and visitors.

They sprayed last fall, and the team was back again in April to cut down and safely dispose of the invasive species.

We can't thank this crew enough for this challenging work! We know it's an ongoing process - done in stages - and we look forward to seeing the team again soon. ☺️
