Over the years Piwapan Wellness Centre has offered a full range of residential and outreach services specializing in helping women and children impacted by family violence. Piwapan plays a key role in servicing La Ronge area and small communities in Northern SK.

On June 24, 2026, Piwapan Wellness Centre’s Napesis Club got active and biked to the Patterson Park Beach. The weather was absolutely beautiful for some swimming and beach volleyball. Big thank you to the town of La Ronge for supplying the fat tire bikes for our youth. We had had a blast!

On June 18th, Piwapan Wellness Centre’s Napesis Club was so fortunate to learn about the process of hand tanning moose hide with Christina Lindskog.

She invited our youth to her home to learn how to scrape a hide. These young men also found other ways to return the good fortune of our host by digging some post holes for a new hide stretcher and loading and the canoe rack and canoe onto Christina’s truck.

Big thank you to Christina for welcoming our group into your home and sharing your time with us.
